bliss- "to reach a perfect state of happiness so as to be oblivious from everything else"
What to expect
During your treatment
Your Microblading treatment will begin by reviewing your consultation and discussing any further questions you may have, as well as confirming your expectations of colour, shape and thickness. We will then begin to draw the outline of your brows using our measuring technique to ensure symmetry based on your face shape. We will work with you to provide our professional recommendation on what we feel will be an appropriate result for your new eyebrows, including shape, colour and thickness to ensure realistic expectations. A topical anaesthetic will be applied and the Microblading application will begin.
Pain during the treatment is relative. Delicate or sensitive skin may be slightly red and/or swollen after the procedure. Because each individual is different, some guests report the area to be completely numb, while others may experience some discomfort. We will do our best to ensure a comfortable experience, however, we cannot accept responsibility if the area to be treated does not respond to the numbing cream. You can expect some slight bleeding as well, this is perfectly normal and should subside by the end of your treatment.
Microblading results are not guaranteed as there are many factors that affect the healing process beyond our control (how you take care of your brow tattoo, how your skin heals and retains pigment, your skin type etc.) including the longevity of your semi-permanent tattoo. Typically your brows should last anywhere from 12-36 months, however results may vary by individual.
After your treatment
Healing is fully completed after 28 days of your follow up appointment. Your post-treatment will be discussed at your first visit and will make up 70% of the treatment's success. It will be extremely important to follow these guidelines during the healing process. Your colour will appear darker and thicker at first and will fade as the healing begins. Each eyebrow may also go through different stages of healing and may look slightly different during this process,
Colour duration primarily depends on how oily the skin is as well as your aftercare. The oilier the skin, the shorter the colour will last. Sweating and sun exposure can also reduce colour fastness. It will be important to avoid such activities during the healing process.
As a result of the treatment, combined with the use of the anaesthetic, you can expect to experience some redness/swelling that can last 1-4 days, however, most redness will subside within a few hours post-treatment.
Although unlikely, in extreme cases, an allergic reaction can occur from any anaesthetics used during the procedure. If you do suffer from an allergic reaction, you should contact your doctor immediately. Allergic reaction response may show through redness, swelling, rash, blistering, dryness or any other symptoms associated with an allergic reaction.
Within the first week, your brows should start to look more natural, but please be patient with the healing process, it does take the full 4 weeks, plus your touch up appointment to fully reveal the final results.
Get ready for beautiful brows!
